Networks consist of people inside and outside of your current organization and people inside and outside of your function.
This exercise helps you to gain insight into networks. Ideally, you should have networks in all the quadrants.
Instructions:
1. You have 30 coins – 15 each of $5 and $1.
2. In the grid below, click “+” $ 1 icon for each person you know who is in a similar role / experience as you and who is a believer in your capabilities.
3. Similarly, click “+” $ 5 icon for each person you know who is more senior to you (including search consultants) and who is a believer in your capabilities.
4. You don’t have to use all your coins – remember use it only for people who believe in you.
